Do you take insurance?

We gladly accept United Healthcare, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Landmark, and many HMOs. Feel free to call our office before your appointment and we can check your benefits so that you will know your out of pocket cost.

Will the adjustment hurt?

Typically no. Most patients leave my office feeling much better than when they came in. The adjustment may be less than comfortable, as I am poking around in sore areas, and if I am doing muscle work, that can have that “hurt so good” feeling. I always check in with my patients and make sure to monitor their pain threshold.

How much will it cost?

This is a case-by-case situation. Most copays vary between $0-$25 if you do have insurance. The typical chiropractic office visit is $60 per visit if you do not have insurance. The initial visit takes more time due to the exam, so the overall cost is $85 (exam and adjustment) without insurance. The number of visits prescribed is determined by the severity of each case, which we will know after the initial exam. A common treatment plan is 6-10 visits over 30 days, and then a re-evaluation. Some people need more, some less. I feel like we need to figure out what works best with each individual patient and make it affordable.

Is chiropractic safe?

Chiropractic is one of the safest forms of health care. Many people have this concern, and an overall fear of being adjusted, because of the “pop” noise. I understand these concerns, and I’ve done a lot of research into the safety of the practices I utilize in my clinic. As with any intervention, there are inherent risks, but when compared with other forms of intervention, chiropractic has been found to be the safest and most cost effective form of care for low back and neck pain.

How long will each visit be?

Visit times vary from patient to patient. The initial visit typically takes 30-60 minutes, while follow up visits last anywhere between 15 minutes to 30 minutes.

Can I bring my kids?

Please do. We are a family practice and I think it is great for children to see their parents being treated. It is also great for them to know that not all doctors are going to give them a shot when they go to their office!

Do I have to keep coming in over and over?

My goal is to get you well and give you the tools to keep yourself well. Some conditions require more rehabilitation than others. I offer a wellness program in my office if you want to stay on the top of your game with chiropractic, but that is something that we decide together.
